Collegiate 100

The Collegiate 100 is an auxiliary organization that extends the 100's mission on college and university campuses across America. The organization is open to male and female college students in the Montgomery Area. Each student must possess a desire to mentor while being mentored and a passion for community service.

Collegiate Programs

The Collegiate 100 Chapter supports the work of the 100 Black Men of Greater Montgomery, Inc. Each year the Collegiate 100 Chapter strives to provide workshops on their respective campuses in the following areas:

  • Collegiate 100 Career Expo
  • Collegiate 100 Week
  • Dress For Success Workshops
  • How To Network Workshops
  • Middle School Visitation Days (Mentoring, Tutoring and Speaking)
  • Underclassmen Mentoring Programs

Membership Criteria

College students must meet the following mandatory criteria in order to be eligible for membership in the Collegiate 100 Chapter:

  • Be enrolled as a current, full-time student at an accredited college or university
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on 4.0 scale)
  • Submit a completed Application for Membership
  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Commit to at least three (3) hours of community service per month
  • Commit to mentoring youth
  • Interview with Campus Advisor
